Our Shared Garden
MONDAYS & FRIDAYS(weather permitting)
Location: Trescony Park Community Garden (Trescony St., Santa Cruz, CA
Everyone is welcome to join whether you are new to gardening or come with a plethora of experience. We now have 7 raised, wheelchair accessible garden beds (200+ sq ft) at the Trescony Park Community Gardens! We’ll spend afternoons in the fresh air sowing seeds, watering, weeding, pruning, harvesting and enjoying. Come watch the greenery grow and reap the harvest through the year! Wear comfortable clothes that you won’t mind getting dirty, and make sure to bring a sun hat. This ongoing project is for all ages to enjoy. Check out Our Shared Garden Facebook Page to see updates of the garden!

Adaptive Yoga Project
Directed by Annica Rose, the Adaptive Yoga classes are designed for students with a variety of needs who are looking for a safe place to experience the multiple benefits of yoga. These benefits would include increased flexibility, greater sense of balance, moderate strengthening, and the ability to be present in themselves in the breath to achieve the optimum degree of healing in each experience.
Other yoga clases, such as Back Care Basics, Junior Adaptives, Yoga for Parkinsons, and Restorative Yoga are available as well! View the Adaptive Yoga Project Website for more information about this program and how to register for a class!
