200 volunteers came out to Day on the Beach on July 14th to provide an incredible experience for individuals with disabilities! Thanks to incredible volunteer efforts, we were able to offer 47 kayaking trips, 130 outrigger canoe rides, over 25 SCUBA outings, and beach wheelchair ride in the sand and surf. Over 500 additional participants and their families, friends and care providers came out to enjoy the extra activities and entertainment at the beach party!
This event would not be possible without the enthusiastic involvement of volunteers, participants, family members, and care providers. Thank you for being a part of this spectacular day and keeping the mission of Shared Adventures going strong!
