Shared Adventures will host an unveiling and dedication ceremony at Ramsay Park in Watsonville on Sat., Oct. 16 to honor and celebrate those with disabilities. Two murals will be permanently displaced. The public is invited. Light refreshments will be served.

Come to Ramsay park at 2 p.m. Saturday as Shared Adventures will host an unveiling and dedication ceremony for two new murals at the site.
Watsonville Mayor Jimmy Dutra will make an official proclamation and Shared Adventures founder Foster Andersen and community representatives will speak about the fight for disability rights and awareness.

The murals were partially paid for by a grant from the Santa Cruz Arts Council, with Shared Adventures coordinating the project and underwriting a majority of the costs for the two murals. One of the two murals features internationally recognized Santa Cruz County athletes with disabilities, skier Monica Boscio, surfer Claudio Morales, table tennis player Sebastian DeFrancesca, and basketball star Trooper Johnson. The panels of the murals were designed and printed by Mardeen Gordon of SignAge & ArtWorks.
