Weekly Fitness:
Join us on Wednesdays and Fridays for High Intensity Interval Training. Anyone with an interest in learning or teaching can volunteer as a fitness trainer for a special needs athlete – no experience is required. I love volunteering for fitness because I get to build relationships with our repeat participants, teach new skills and most importantly – help them get fit!
Indoor Rock Climbing Night
On third Sundays from November – April, I get pumped to volunteer as a belayer for our special needs climbers. Climbing is one of the most empowering sports, and there’s nothing like giving another person the gift of ascending the top of the wall! Plus you just might make a new climbing buddy at the free post-event climbing available to volunteers afterwards.
Dances
Who doesn’t love to dance the night away? Shared Adventures sponsors seasonal dances, Halloween, Night to Shine, and Spring Fling that are truly memorable and fun evenings.
