Day in the Park Event promoting Autism Acceptance Month
In collaboration with San Lorenzo Park Neighbors, Autism Family Network Santa Cruz and San
Andreas Regional Center, Day in the Park was a free event for community members of all ages. The
day started with a park clean-up followed by live entertainment, barbecue, and games.
Vendors representing various non-profits offering services to people with disabilities were available
to provide information.
The celebration also promoted Autism Awareness Acceptance Month.
